How Insurance Billing Works

  1. Eligibility Verification
    Once you request our services, our administrative team will verify your insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure coverage for mobile wound care.
  2. Claims Submission
    Advent will submit claims directly to your insurance provider on your behalf.
  3. Patient Responsibility
    Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for:
    • Co-pays
    • Deductibles
    • Coinsurance
    • Any non-covered services

We will notify you in advance if services are not covered or if out-of-pocket costs are expected.

Prior Authorizations

Some insurance providers require prior authorization for wound care services. If necessary, our team will work directly with your provider to obtain approvals before your visit.

Out-of-Network Services

If Advent is not in-network with your insurance provider:

  • We may still provide services with out-of-network billing
  • You may be responsible for a larger portion of the cost
  • We will inform you of any potential charges in advance

We also offer self-pay options and will work with you to find a care solution that fits your financial situation.
